I think the financial crisis is actually a return to value. By now we have all heard about the mortgage loans to those unable to repay, and the derivative instruments that consisted of bundled worthless mortgage loans, sold to banks and financial institutions around the world. These bad investments are now coming to light.

What can we do if our bank or shares are imperiled. I say return to value; real estate, gold & silver. Paper money will almost certainly loose value as it is only paper and not backed by anything of value. Inflation has been silently robbing us all for years.
