Keeping the secret was hard. We made him walk through the streets with his eyes down so he wouldn't see the big tardis out front. We had a lot of fun saving Dr. Who from danger. Afterwards we went to Mel's favorite Mexican restaurant in Notting Hill and ate with his sister Paula and her husband.

Between courses, I got Mel to open his presents. One of them was a migraine cap (he's trying it out below). It freezes all over and is supposed to really help with bad headaches. Apparently freezing cold on the front of the brain helps with insomnia, so I'm going to steal his Migra cap some nights for myself.

Ooh, sounds like so much fun! Is it a permanent exhibit, or something temporary? As in, would it still be there if we ever get cross the pond to see you someday?
Are y'all watching the new Torchwood, or are we getting to see it first since a US channel sponsored it this time? It's off to a good start! Happy Birthday, Mel!
The exhibition closes in Sept., alas. I haven't been watching Torchwood. I think Mel and the guys are/did though.
Who said I look better with the cap on???
The new Torchwood starts this Thursday - I say a trailer for it this evening.
Very enlightened of you Yanks to sponsor quality British TV!
My son's birthday was July 11 and we took him and a friend to see the exhibit also! We all loved it - fantastic!
