Fish pedicure
Have you all had a fish pedicure yet? It's so cool -- you stick your feet in a tank full of tiny fish who then eat the dead skin off your feet.
I cycled into town during my lunch break to try it out:

You hope they brushed their teeth after the previous guy...
They got outlawed here. State law says cosmetology instruments must be sterilized between uses.
What if the little fishies took one look at one's feet and turned away in disgust? How embarrassing would that be? Calluses so ugly even a bottom-feeder wouldn't touch 'em!
I did some research and found that there's a concern about disease/infection being passed along, if the person using the water/fish before had even a small open wound.
My granddaughters did this in Thailand. The granddaughter who has no fear wouldn't even try it, and the granddaughter who's even afraid of butterflies loved it. Go figure!
Think of you often and hope you're surviving. Remember you can always come home to Natchez.
