Here's the pic of one of the women on the show. Her self-esteem was low, so she and her husband remortgaged their house to pay for a facelift which then left the nerves on one face permanently damaged:

I loved my grandmother's aged face. I would not have had her any other way, every wrinkle was reassuring.
Not long ago I saw a shocking picture of a woman who had several facelifts and at age 75 she looked like a puppet. What a horrible thing to do.
No thanks! I think we should bring back charming little hats with veils that hide all the damage.
I remember some comic commenting on some celebrity's many face lifts, saying that she "had to cross her legs to get enough slack to smile."
