Wearing cords a sin?

This is cute....

YOUNG Chris Pesto decided to retaliate when a foolish fundie wearing an ankle-length corduroy skirt decided to take her sad little anti-gay message to Syracuse University, NY, last week.

And he's so right! Cord skirts get a 'seat' in them almost immediately!

Sorry, was that a tad bit gay?

God damn it Elizabeth, making fun of Christians with no fashion sense is a SIN! (actually, you beat me to this one by a whisker! I had it cut, paste and ready to go! :)

Great illustration of how to deal with this aspect of religion though, humour is a great way to get the message across.

CORDS ARE THE INSTRUMENT OF THE DEVIL.

I'm obviously out of touch with fashion these days. I didn't even realise that there were still corduroy clothes still being made. Wasn't that the seventies?

Ah, Brody, there you have it. The protester came to us via a worm hole and her cord skirt came too. She is form the seventies.

Offering your love to Jesus is necrophile.

Ghoulish and potentially very unhealthy, but not a sin, obviously.

I own and wear cords -- not skirts though. Does this mean I have NO CHANCE of an afterlife w/ Jesus?

I think it would only be necrophilia if one offered one's love to Jesus at the same time one was having sex with his dead body, but of course that can't be done because he is still alive.

The other possibility is that he never was, in which case it is still not necrophilia Mr. Oranjepan.

Yet another possibility is that he was and didn't live on but died and was buried somewhere and lost and now decayed, in which case it would be very hard to have sex with the remains- that sort of sex requires at least some retention of freshness, it has a "use-by" date imprinted by nature; in this case it still wouldn't be necrophilia.

Offering one's love to a poorly understood concept, or a concept framed to provide political advantage to a particular group certainly could be potentially unhealthy, so on this point I agree Mr. Oranjepan.

You want sin?
Barry Manilow - the worst singer on the face of the planet - has a recording contract.
THAT, my friends, is a sin.

Perhaps you will forgive a direction change, but the picture leads me to it.

If you want to learn about sin, look at the Ugandan government and the US fundamentalist alleged christians. and the bill they will pass in the Uganda parliament.

There is work to be done here by decent ordinary people who support Human RIghts for all
