This is a picture of my great-grandparents, the Courtneys, taken in the early 1900s. I liked it so much that I made it the wallpaper on my mobile phone. When I look at them on my phone now, I wonder what they would have made of it -- their photo on this thing that hadn't been invented yet when the pic was taken and put on there by a woman they would never know but who is part of them.
That's them on the phone above. Check out my lovely Chanel Fuscia nail polish -- I swiped the bottle from my daughter but she hasn't complained yet. In the background is my bottle of Peace of Mind by Origins -- it's strong peppermint stuff that you put on your temples when you are stressed and headachy -- my friend Elizabeth in Detroit sent me my first bottle. It's great stuff. In fact, I think I need some now.

IT MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT TECHNOLOGY WILL BE LIKE IN ANOTHER 100 YEARS. AND WHAT WE WOULD MAKE OF IT.
AND OF COURSE WILL ANYBODY REMEBER MY FILMS!
But you've already said, Anonymous, that you thought you would be forgotten, and I was sad for you. But I think since we will all be dead in 100 years, who cares who remembers us? We won't know the difference anyway.
AS WELL AS HAVING NICE NAILS, YOU HAVE A GOOD MEMORY! YOU ARE RIGHT, UNLIKE YOURSELF WHO HAS MADE HER MARK FOR POSTERITY WITH THESE BLOGS, I'M JUST GOING TO FADE AWAY LIKE THE MAJORITY OF MAN KIND. IN 100 YEARS WHO WILL CARE?? CERTAINLY NO ONE WILL EVER SAY THEY HAVE KNOWN US. MAYBE SOME PHOTOS OR VIDEO MAY STILL BE AROUND AND IT MAY BE PUT ONTO THE FUTURES VERSION OF THE MOBILE PHONE. I AM STILL MULLING OVER SENDING YOU A PHOTO, BUT I KEEP CAHNGING MY MIND!
